Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed delight and warmly welcomed Mr. Robert Kalinak to Vietnam, saying that the visit became more significant as it took place right after the visit to Slovakia by the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security from September 27 to October 1, 2025.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that, after the recent visit to Slovakia, the Vietnamese Party and State leaders instructed the Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministries and agencies to urgently develop specific cooperation plans and roadmaps with relevant Slovakian agencies and partners with the aim of strengthening relations and cooperation in various fields for substantive and effective outcomes, with security and defence playing as a vital role.

The minister stated that, in the highly complex global and regional situations, and the increase in traditional and non-traditional security challenges, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has a great need for equipment on the one hand, and is aiming for development of its own security industry on the other hand. He added, Slovakia is one of Vietnam’s partners with large potential for cooperation in both areas.
