Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc inspects work at Khanh Hoa’s Thuan Bac Commune Police

As part of the Ministry of Public Security’s plan to inspect the task implementation of the entire Public Security Forces in the first six months of 2026, on June 8, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, led Inspection Team No. 6 to evaluate work results of the Thuan Bac Commune Police Station.

As part of the Ministry of Public Security’s plan to inspect the task implementation of the entire Public Security Forces in the first six months of 2026, on June 8, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, led Inspection Team No. 6 to evaluate work results of the Thuan Bac Commune Police Station.

The working session was attended by representatives of professional departments under the Ministry of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department, leaders of provincial police units, and local Party and government officials.

Following the implementation of the two-tier local government model, Thuan Bac Commune now comprises 14 villages with 6,050 households and 26,353 residents. During the first half of 2026, the local economy and society continued to develop positively, with several investment projects, creating jobs and income for residents.

Political security and social order remained stable. The number of criminal cases fell by 80% compared with the same period last year, while no wanted fugitives were identified, and the commune maintained its status as a “drug-free commune”.

In state management of security and order, the commune police actively promoted digital transformation through various public digital education campaigns. A total of 996 administrative procedures are now carried out online.

At the inspection, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc praised the Thuan Bac Commune Police for their sense of responsibility, initiatives at work as well as their efforts in overcoming difficulties to maintain security and public order.

He urged officers and personnel to build on existing achievements to further advise the local authorities on security and public-order issues, and enhance their political awareness and professional expertise to meet the new task requirements.

The Deputy Minister also called on the commune police to further strengthen their role in the people’s security network, promote the application of science, technology, and digital transformation to their work, effectively implement the “Three Bests” emulation movement, and foster an image of the police officer wholeheartedly dedicated to serving the Fatherland and the people.

He expressed confidence that the Thuan Bac Commune Police Station would remain united and successfully fulfill their duties, contributing to political stability, public security, and socio-economic development in the commune.
