- Police General Department to organise "Golden Bell" regarding the Party Congress Resolution
On September 19th morning, on the occasion of the 9th Women’s Congress of General Political Department, term 2016-2021, took place over two days 19th, 20th September 2016 in Hanoi, the delegates of the Congress have offered incense, newspapers to President Ho Chi Minh at Memorial house located in the headquarters of Ministry of Public Security. On the same day, the congress undertook a preparatory meeting.
The preparatory meeting of the 9th Women’s Congress of General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security, 2016-2021 is participated by Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam - Deputy Director of the General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security; Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi - Deputy Director of the General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security; Colonel Nguyen Duc Minh - Deputy Director of Political advisory Department – Ministry of Public Security; 200 delegates who are officers, active members and representatives for women members at General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security.

During 5 years (2012-2016), under the leadership and guidance of the Party Committees, the Executive Board (EB) of Public Security women, together with all the women officers and members in General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security has growing steady in all aspects with the strong development both in quantity and quality, achieved many important results, contributing to the political duties of the General Department and the strength and transparency of Ministry of Public Security.

In the preparatory session, the congress has passed several contents such as: election of the Presidium of the Congress; Secretary of the Congress and delegates examining Board. The congress also approved the regulations and congress agenda; discussed about the Congress personnel scheme and the lists of elected nominees for Executive Committee term 2016-2021, the list of elected delegates to attend Women Union’s Congress of Ministry of Public Security, term 2016-2021. Besides, all the delegations were informed about Congress Election Regulation; elected voting Committee, and other preparations for the official Congress.

Speaking at the preparatory meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Ten emphasized the Congress is an important political event to orientate the activity and development of Women Unions and women members in General Political Department – Ministry of Public Security. Party Committee and leaders of the General Department hopes the Congress to be held seriously and effectively.

Congress must take place truly with democratic, solidarity, wisdom through a clear and innovated program; each delegate should elect the committee with not only talent but morality, enough to lead the Union's work in the upcoming period to reach the highest efficiency.
The activities of the Congress should be organized seriously, satisfactory which is not only professional and political but also lively to reflect the spirit of women whom joined General Political Department; each delegate must uphold the spirit of responsibility, contributed to the success of the congress.
