Traffic Police exert all out efforts to ensure absolute safety for APEC Economic Leaders’ week 2017

PSNews – According to Major General Tran Son Ha, Director of the Traffic Police Department, the traffic police force has drawn up specific plans for all possible situations and will ensure absolute safety for APEC Economic Leaders’ week 2017 in November in Da Nang.

  • Public Security forces contribute to sustainable development of Mekong Delta
  • Minister To Lam asks the Quan Thanh Ward Police to focus on maintaining social security and order
  • People’s Police Academy organizes full moon festival for upland children

In addition to security protection and medical services, ensuring traffic safety, coordinating among forces as well as receiving and convoying participating delegations during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017 in Da Nang are very important missions entrusted to the traffic police force.

Therefore, the Traffic Police Department have deployed specific plans in coordination with local police units to implement traffic safety missions.

Moreover, the APEC Steering sub-Committee for Traffic Safety and Social Order Protection has been founded to mobilize the whole traffic police force to serve the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017 in Da Nang from September 6-11.

The traffic police force well understands that Vietnam’s effort for the APEC Vietnam 2017 will in part be measured by the satisfaction of state leaders, officials and international friends with traffic in Da Nang during the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017.

Earlier, from September 30 to October 1, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, who is also head of the National Committee for APEC 2017, worked with representatives of sub-committees for reception, security and health, communications and culture, material and logistics, and the committee’s secretariat.
