Carrying disaster relief to the Northern provinces seriously affected by Typhoon No.3, the Public Security Youth Union, Women’s Union and Trade Union visited forces participating in relief, search and rescue operations and presented necessities to people in affected provinces including Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai, on September 11th, 2024.

Delegates present necessities to people in Yen Bai.

Carrying disaster relief to the Northern provinces seriously affected by Typhoon No.3, the Public Security Youth Union, Women’s Union and Trade Union visited forces participating in relief, search and rescue operations and presented necessities to people in affected provinces including Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai, on September 11th, 2024.

Accordingly, the delegation closely coordinated with the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department to transport necessities, including instant noodles, rice crackers, bottled water and cakes, costing 100 million VND, to affected areas. The Women’s Union chapter of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department received the relief and then delivered to affected people in the province.

On the same afternoon, the delegation visited and presented gifts to on-duty forces and people in Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai provinces.

In Yen Bai province, delegates visited, encouraged police officers of the Hong Ha Ward Police Station in Yen Bai city, as well as handed over two boats, 200 flashlights, 100 pairs of boots, a ton of rice and hundreds of boxes of bottled water, milk, instant noodle and bread to the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department to quickly deliver to people in need.

In Tuyen Quang province, the delegation visited armed forces officers and soldiers as well as volunteers on duty at key areas and presented them with 150 flashlights, 100 boxes of clothes and towels and hundreds of boxes of bottled water, instant noodles, milk, dry food and bread.

The total relief for  the three provinces costs 300 million VND.
