Public Security Minister visits Vietnamese embassy in Kazakhstan

PSNews - Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General To Lam on April 20 led a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to visit and talk with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Kazakhstan.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Doan Thi Xuan Hien said, the embassy actively launched activities in celebration of the 25th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Kazakhstan last year.

Minister Lam briefed the embassy’s staff on the domestic political and socio-economic situation, as well as the Public Security Forces efforts in preventing and fighting crimes. 

He also informed them of the outcomes of the talks held earlier between the Vietnam’s MPS and the National Security Committee (NSC) of Kazakhstan, emphasizing that both sides agreed to share experience in preventing and fighting crimes, especially crimes related to national security.

The two sides also vowed to work closely together to not allow any individuals and organizations to take advantage of one country’s land to sabotage the other, while enhancing security and safety  diplomatic representative agencies as well as trade, investment, economic and tourism activities and expats of one country living, studying and working in the other country. 

The Minister hoped that each embassy official will strive to fulfill their assigned tasks and  foster the traditional friendship between the two countries.
