Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the work results and achievements of the Police Department of Prison, Compulsory Education Facility, and Reformatory Management in recruiting and training enlistees to do national service in the People's Public Security Forces in recent times.

Regarding a number of tasks of the sector in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the Police Department of Prison, Compulsory Education Facility, and Reformatory Management should identify training police rookies as one of its central and key tasks.

Therefore, it should thoroughly grasp the situation, coordinate closely with the subunits responsible for training police rookies to ensure the training quality and meet the set goals.

Meanwhile, the police agencies and units that have sent enlistees to the training course should regularly exchange information about their elistees with the Police Department of Prison, Compulsory Education Facility, and Reformatory Management in order to promptly advise the Ministry's leaders on measures to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating the best conditions for the training subunits to successfully complete their tasks.

The Deputy Minister also encouraged the trainees, saying that trainees should strictly comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws and the Public Security Forces’ regulations; uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties and challenges, build up internal solidarity, and strive to successfully complete the goals and requirements of the training course.

 *On the same day, the Police Department of Prison, Compulsory Education Facility, and Reformatory Management organized the launch of the 2024 Tree Planting Festival "Eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho," a very meaningful and practical activity in response to the Program to plant one billion trees "For a Green Vietnam" launched by the Prime Minister.
