People’s Security College 1 celebrates 50th Anniversary and receives noble order

People’s Security College 1 (PPC) on May 21 organized a ceremony to celebrate its 50th Traditional Day (May 15, 1968 – 2018) and received the “Fatherland Protection” Order of first class. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

Since its foundation, the PPC 1 has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continuously develop its assets and forces, and successfully fulfill all given tasks. The management and teaching staff of the college have grown in all aspects while its teaching and training methods have also been improved restlessly.

In recent years, the college has finished or is conducting 19 ministerial-level and 42 grassroots-level scientific research projects.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the feats and contributions of the college to the country during the national liberation war, as well as its great achievements in the current cause of national construction and country defense.

He also asked the College to continue improving its education management toward more coherence, effectiveness and efficiency. The Deputy Minister suggested the college further renovate teaching methods by promoting practical activities close to the reality; combine theory and practice in its education and training process, develop it as a high-qualified training center of the Public Security Forces.
