People’s Police Academy builds school in rural mountainous area

PSNews - Recently, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the People’s Police Academy in coordination with the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department, the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union and members of the Project ‘Strength of 2,000VND” and the Project “To Support Children” organized the inauguration ceremony of Hua Thanh school branch, in Dien Bien.

In an effort to create better learning conditions for students in mountainous area in particular as well as contribute to the cause of education and training in general, the People’s Police Academy and its companions raised funds to build a new Hua Thanh school branch, costing more than 500 million VND.

In addition, the delegation presented 3.5 tons of floor mat, costing 100 million VND, to the new school, while offering gifts to 20 students and presenting two laptops to the local authority, totally costing 40 million VND.

The construction of the new school branch, consisting of three classrooms and one lavatory, began on March 2024, totally costing more than 500 million VND.

Delegates present gifts to beneficiaries.

After two months of construction, the school was completed, bringing excitement and joyfulness to the teachers, students and local people. 

The new school with three modern classrooms will facilitate the teaching and study of more than 50 teachers and students in local area.
