The festival took place from October 12 to 16 with the participation of nearly 500 delegates from 74 press and media agencies inside and outside the Public Security Forces.
The Organizing Committee received 578 entries, of them a majority are TV broadcasts, including 154 journalistic works, 117 works of art genres and specialized programs; 63 works in the security and order category; 81 contestants competing in news reading and program host, and 244 radio works.
The entries, regardless of genres, reflect the real life and performance of political tasks of the People's Police Force, particularly the police’s fight against crime, the achievements and silent sacrifices of police officers and soldiers in performing their duties.
They have contributed to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security Forces who work for the sake of the country and the people.
After five days of seriously, fairly and objectively working on the entries, the judges selected 66 for the Gold Award, 135 for the Silver Award and 236 for Certificates of Merit, and the outstanding works and authors were honored at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Major General Do Trieu Phong stated, "This festival has left a deep impression on audiences and created an emulation for press workers to work harder for better press and media works.

It has also been one of the meaningful milestones in the first year of implementing the 13th Resolution of the Party on promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the Mekong Delta by 2030, with a vision to 2045, and Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on “Building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation."
He also called on journalists in general and those who work in newspapers, radio and television broadcasters in particular to work harder, study harder in the face of Industry 4.0 and the grow of social networks.
The director suggested press and media workers should take advantage of digital technology platforms to improve the quality of their broadcasts in the current digital era.
