PSNews – Young police officers of the Youth Union’s chapter under the Tuong Duong District Police Station, Nghe An Province collected old and damaged automotive tires to make beautiful traffic signs.

This practical activity helps people follow the traffic law, protect environment and foster a green, clean, and civilized living space.

According to Senior Lieutenant Lo Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union’s chapter of Tuong Duong District Police, the mountainous district of Tuong Duong is about 200-300km from Vinh City. A majority of the local population are of ethnic minorities and most of them are  poor.

Local people are not very aware of laws, including the law on traffic safety.

Recognizing the situation, the Youth Union chapter of Tuong Duong District Police had the initiative "Recycling old tires" by mobilizing youth union members and young people to collect old motorbike tires to make funny traffic signs.

Young police officers of the Youth Union’s chapter under the Tuong Duong District Police Station collected old and damaged automotive tires to make beautiful traffic signs.

This practical activity helps people follow the traffic law, protect environment and foster a green, clean, and civilized living space.

Within a morning, 25 young police officers of Tuong Duong District Police in collaboration with the local young people made up 30 traffic signs at local beaches and dangerous roads.

This meaningful activity aimed to raise local people’s awareness of observing traffic safety, minimize traffic accidents, and contribute to environmental protection.
