New Vice Director of An Giang Provincial Police Department takes office

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony in An Giang on January 14 to announce a decision by the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of Vice Director of the provincial Police Department of An Giang.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulates Senior Colonel Bui Tan An on his new position. 

Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Le Hong Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of departments under the MPS and representatives from provincial agencies and departments.

According to the decisions announced at the event, Senior Colonel Bui Tan An, Director of the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department, permanent member of the Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee, has been appointed as the Vice Director of the provincial Police Department of An Giang.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated Senior Colonel Bui Tan An on his new position and hoped that the new vice police chief of An Giang would do his best to fulfil all his given tasks in the new position, contributing to political security, social order and safety and socio-economic development in the province.

For his part, Senior Colonel Bui Tan An thanked the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the MPS, the provincial Party and People’s Committee of An Giang for their trust. He also promised to do his best to fulfil all given tasks.
