New Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department appointed

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 1 attended a ceremony in Nam Dinh to announce decisions made by the Minister of Public Security on personnel and organization of the Provincial Police Department.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung hands the promotion decision to Senior Colonel Tran Minh Tien. 

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Tran Duc Quan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Lam Dong; Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Nam Dinh.

According to the decisions announced by an official from the Department for Organization and Personnel, Senior Colonel Pham Van Long, Director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department, was appointed as Director of the Counter-Narcotic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) while Senior Colonel Tran Minh Tien, Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department, was appointed as Director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department.

On behalf of the MPS leaders, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and Mr. Pham Gia Tuc congratulated the two senior officers on their appointments, wishing that they would do their best to fulfil all given tasks in their new positions.

The two newly-appointed police officers thanked MPS leaders and the provincial authorities as well as relevant units and agencies for their great supports in the past time. They vowed to do their best to fulfil all given tasks on their new positions.
