Senior Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department, has been appointed to the position of Director of Telecommunications and Cipher Department.

The appointment decision was announced at an event held on June 29, which was chaired by Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the event, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen handed the appointment decision signed by the Minister of Public Security to Senior Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, which takes effect from July 1, 2022.

At the same event, another Minister’s decision was announced. Accordingly, Major General Pham Dang Khoa, former Director of Telecommunications and Cipher would take the post of Director of Immigration Management.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen appreciated the contributions and achievements of the two senior public security officers over the past time. He congratulated Senior Colonel Le Khac Thuyet and Major General Pham Dang Khoa on their new appointments, wishing that they would do their best to fulfil all given tasks in their new positions.

The two newly-appointed officers thanked MPS leaders as well as relevant units and agencies at all levels for their great supports in the past time. They vowed to do their best to complete all given tasks on their new positions.
