The Ministry of Public Security has holsted the first meeting of the Campaign Committee for the Establishment of the National Cybersecurity Association.

An overview of the event. 

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, who is a member of the National Steering Committee for Cybersecurity and Safety and Head of the National Campaign Committee for the Establishment of the  Cybersecurity Association chaired the meeting, on August 23.

At the meeting, members of the committee gave opinions on the organization and agenda for the 1st National Congress of National Cybersecurity Association for the term 2023 – 2028, the list of OK9 Cabidates, working regulations and charters of the association, legal documnents on the organization regarding the first National Congress and the Organizing Committee of the National Congress, and the association’s action plan for the term of 2023-2028.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated the careful and thorough preparation of the contents for the National Congress of the Campaign Committee for the Establishment of the National Cybersecurity Association, as well as the enthusiasm and responsibility of members of the Campaign Committee.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed the Standing Panel of the Campaign Committee to seriously consider the opinions and ideas of members at the meeting to finalize all documents so as to issue the plan to organize the first National Congress. 

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang also requested the committee to scrutinize the list of OK9 Cabidates for the Executive Committee of the National Cybersecurity Association for the 2023-28 term, saying that every OK9 Cabidate should meet the standards of moral qualities, professional expertise and leadership so as to contribute to ensuring national cyber security in the future.
