Ministry of Public Security determined to realize Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW

PSNews - Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, chaired a conference, on the afternoon of December 9, in Hanoi, to evaluate the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW issued by the Politburo and Master Plan No.118-KH/ĐUCA by the Public Security Central Party Committee on enhancing the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces, meeting the task requirements in the new situation

The conference, which also aimed to approve a draft action program to implement the resolutions of the 6th Meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee, was held via videoconferencing, connecting delegates at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of police departments of provinces and cities across the countries. 

At the conference, member of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security Lieutenant General To An Xo  presented a report summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 12 and Plan No. 118 as well as briefed delegates on the draft action program.

The report states, on November 19, 2022, the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee issued the Statement No. 180  evaluating the initial results of the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 12 and the Plan No. 118, saying that after nearly a month of thoroughly studying and implementing the resolutions, a number of outstanding results had been achieved.

Later, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired a discussion session, in which delegates focused on clarifying advantages as well as shortcomings and obstacles in implementing the resolutions, and at the same time, proposed the solutions to address the issues and successfully realize the resolutions.

Concluding the conference, on behalf of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister To Lam emphasized that the implementation of Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo is an important political task of the Public Security Forces, so it requires leaders to all public security agencies and units to uphold their sense of responsibility and thoroughly roll out Resolution No. 12 and Master Plan No. 118 to all Party members, officers and soldiers in their agencies and units while each Party  member and officer should raise their awareness of the importance of the resolution, actively train themselves and continuously improve their professional qualifications.

Minister To Lam also asked all agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Statement 180 of the Standing Committee of the Public Security Central Party Committee. 

In addition, provincial-level police departments should actively advise the local authorities on the execution of Resolution No. 12 while mobilizing the entire political system and taking full advantage of local resources to step up the building of local police forces in line with the roadmap and requirements set out in Master Plan No. 118.

Minister To Lam requested leaders of all public security agencies and units to early draw up their plans to implement the resolution and the master plan, and submit them to the higher authorities for approval.
