Major General Nguyen Van Son receives appointment decision as Deputy Minister

PSNews - The Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have handed over the Prime Minister’s appointment decision to Major General Nguyen Van Son. 
  • Major General Nguyen Van Son appointed as Deputy Minister of Public Security

The Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony on November 25th, in Hanoi to announce the appointment decision. Under the decision, the Prime Minister promoted Major General Nguyen Van Son from Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics to Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony.

The ceremony also saw the participation of Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, members of the Central Public Security Party Committee, as well as leaders of other General Departments, High Commands and under-ministry agencies.

At the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Xuan Muoi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Ministry of Public Security, announced the decision.

Under the authorization of the Prime Minister, Minister To Lam handed over the decision and presented congratulation flowers to newly-appointed Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son.

In his remarks, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam underscored that the decision demonstrates the care of the Party and State for the Public Security Forces and Major General Nguyen Van Son. 

He also hoped that with over 30 years of experiences, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son will continue improving his political spirit, revolutionary virtues, working capacity in order to work along with the leadership of the Public Security Forces to steer agencies and units under the ministry to successfully fulfill their tasks.
