Local district police prevents teenagers from committing law violations

PSNews - Over the past time, the Ha Dong District Police Station of Hanoi City has proactively detected and promptly prevented many cases, in which students and teenagers had been using weapons to resolve conflicts.

Against this backdrop, the local police have synchronously taken various professional preventive measures, firmly grasped the local situation, mobilized people to report and denounce crimes, and promoted the movement “All people protect national security.”

One of effective preventive approaches was shared by Ha Dong District Police Chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen at the meeting, saying that since the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, the district police have coordinated with the Office of Education & Training, the school's management board to organize legal education drives with about 150,000 participants of officials, teachers and students.

At the seminar, N.T.P, a student of a college in Ha Dong district, shared his story about his past violations, and he expressed regret about his past mistakes. Similar is the case of N.D.A (a 10th grader at a local high school) who said, “I used to be a bad student, often played truant and hung around with bad boys. “Today, first of all, I would like to thank police officers as well as my teachers and parents. Without their care and timely help, I would not have had the opportunity to stand here to tell my story.”

Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen said that the Ha Dong District Police Station will coordinate with relevant units to build a student database and publish new types of crimes, high-tech crimes for school students and people to grasp the situation prevent crime on the electronic information system.
