Draft report on supervision of Public Security Central Party Committee discussed

According to the draft report, the Public Security Central Party Committee has led its subordinate Party committees to organize the study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress in a proactive, serious, scientific and effective manner, in full compliance with the regulations of the Party Central Committee.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Delegation No. 4 held a meeting to release and discuss the draft report on its supervision of the Public Security Central Party Committee Standing Board in Hanoi on March 26. Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Thi Hien, Deputy Head of the Inspection Delegation, chaired the meeting.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, leading a delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee Standing Board, attended the meeting.

According to the draft report, the Public Security Central Party Committee has led its subordinate Party committees to organize the study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress in a proactive, serious, scientific and effective manner, in full compliance with the regulations of the Party Central Committee.

The Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee also directed the Ministry of Public Security to issue numerous guiding documents on ensuring security and order for the elections, appoint public security officers as OK9 Cabidates for National Assembly deputies and People’s Council deputies, and assign units and agencies to safeguard the election in accordance with assigned functions and tasks.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and provided comments on the draft supervision report. Generally, delegates reached broad consensus on the main points of the draft report.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Thi Hien affirmed that the delegation would seriously take into consideration all feedback from participants while finalizing the report.

She also requested the Public Security Central Party Committee to supplement the report by clarifying how much the Ministry of Public Security’s had applied strategic technologies, what lessons it had drawn from the reality and learned, and what innovative models it had created in implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, saying that its good hands-on experiences would be useful for other Party organizations nationwide to study and apply.

On behalf of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung appreciated the inspection delegation for its highly responsible, comprehensive and methodical working method, closely aligned with practical conditions as well as with the directives of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

He also requested subordinate Party committees under the Public Security Central Party Committee to promptly supplement the report as required by the inspection delegation to finalize the report before submitting it to the Politburo and the Secretariat.
