Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, PCC’s member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders from the Provincial Police also participated in the working session.

At the meeting, leaders of the Provincial Police has delivered a brief report on the province’s maintenance of security and social order in 2016.

According to reports, the local Police well managed social order and continuously promoted administrative reform, contributing to, better serving the rightful needs of citizens and improving the efficiency of prevention and fight against crimes and law offences in Hai Duong.

Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh applauded the efforts of the Hai Duong Provincial Police in providing good advice to the local authorities, carrying out the public administrative reform and building on the movement “All people protecting National Security” aiming at social welfare, security and safety.

He asked the Hai Duong Provincial Police to continue to heighten their responsibility, to actively grasp the situation of localities, to focus on building police force, particularly communal-level police, to collaborate closely with the local leadership and provide timely and effective advice to them, and to build on a firm people security posture in localities so as to efficiently facilitate prevention and combat against crimes and to ensure social order and safety in the province.
