Deputy Minister of Public Security praises doctors of Da Nang

PSNews - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on January 11 met and presented gifts to doctors of Da Nang, who had tried their best to treat victims of the recent tragic crash in the Hai Van Pass’ ring road on January 8.

This tragic accident killed 1 and injured 22 others, including Ngo Thi Su Sal (21), whose hand had been cut off but was successfully joint by doctors of Da Nang Hospital.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Son expressed his condolences to the victims and their families. He also visited and encouraged Sal, who is still under treatment at the hospital.

According to Le DucNhan, Director of Da Nang Hospital, after being informed of the accident, the hospital declared an emergency and mobilized all doctors and medical workers to the emergency room. The examination and treatment of all victims were performed quickly.

The hospital also were taking all care of the victims while their families had not come there. All costs of the surgery and treatment were covered by the hospital under the direction of the Municipal People’s Committee of Da Nang.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the medical staff at the hospital for their dedication and responsible for treating the victims.

The Deputy Minister also spoke highly of the doctors and medical workers’ high sense of responsibility, noble working ethics for patients.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son donated 1 million VND to each victim of the accident and presented gifts to the doctors of Da Nang Hospital.
