Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), leading a delegation of the MPS, on March 26 worked with the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department. Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative of the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department briefed the Deputy Minister on the local police’s task performance in 2019 and in the first three months of 2020. 

Reports at the meeting read, the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department has actively grasped the local situation to advise the Party committees and authorities at all levels on measures to ensure security and order at the grassroots level while proactively preventing and fighting against crimes over the past time.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc recognized and hailed the outstanding achievements of the Hung Yen police over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the provincial police to accelerate the National Population Database Project and to be fully aware of the importance and urgency of the project.

He also requested the Hung Yen Police to effectively implement the MPS’s Plan No. 105 on launching an intensive campaign against crimes and violations of the legal regulations on possession of weapons, explosives and combat gears.

* On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the MPS’s delegation visited the police officers and soldiers of the Quang Chau Communal Police Post in Hung Yen City.
