Department of Security Investigation holds Party congress

The Party Committee of the Department of Security Crime Investigation (DSI) under the Ministry of Public Security on July 10 held its 25th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the event, Lieutenant General Ly Anh Dung, Director of the DSI, delivered the draft political report made by the 24th Party Executive Committee of the DSI, saying that in the last term, the department’s Party organization has advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders to issue many important directions and policies on the fight against security crimes while guiding the security investigation force to successfully investigate and handle various criminal cases related to national security, as well as to participate in economic, corruption cases and other complex cases in accordance with the laws, while avoiding wrongdoings or injustice during the investigation, contributing to protecting national security, maintaining political stability, and creating a favorable environment for the country’s socio-economic development and international integration.

At the meeting, delegates elected 13 members to the DSI’s Party Executive Committee for the term of 2020-2025 as well as a delegation to attend the 7th Public Security Central Party Congress.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang recognized and praised the efforts and achievements made by all Party members of the DSSI over the past time.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the DSI’s Party Committee to lead the entire security investigation force to strictly follow the laws while investigating and handling cases.

Deputy Minister Quang urged Party members of the DSI to stand united and make efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the 25th Party Congress, significantly contributing to the protection of nation security and social order.
