Reports of the Department of External Security read that, following the direction of the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, the department’s leaders and staff always stood united and upheld their sense of responsibility to successfully complete their key tasks, and the department exceeded all targets set for 2021.
In recognition of their achievements over the past year, the Department of External Security was awarded the Emulation Flag “The Best in Emulation Movement” by the Prime Minister while various teams and individuals of the department have been rewarded by authorities at all levels.
The Deputy Minister showed his consensus on key missions in the department's 2022 work program, saying that the Department of External Security in the coming time should focus on implementing the guidelines, policies of the Party and State on national security protection in the new context.
They should also pay much attention to Party and force building work, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, professional, elite, and modernized external security force in line with the Resolution of the Politburo, Deputy Minister Quang added.
At the year-end meeting of the Department of Technical Services: According to leaders of the department, over the past year, the department has thoroughly implemented the Resolution of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Directives of the Minister of Public Security on providing technical equipment and services to public security agencies and units in 2021.
The department also provided technical support and services for under-ministerial agencies and local police units upon their request to perform unexpected missions.
The department also guided local police forces to take comprehensive technical measures to ensure security and safety for important events of the country, including the 13th Party National Congress, the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and 2021-2026-tenure People's Councils, the national high school graduation entrance exam as well as maintained technical safety of the national database on population.
In 2021, the Department of Technical Services was awarded the Flag “The Best in “For National Security” Emulation Movement” by the Ministry of Public Security while many sub-units and officers of the department were honored by authorities at all levels.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Quang stressed that the Department of Technical Services should direct its sub-units to draw up their work plans based on the 77th National Public Security Conference’s Resolution, especially remarks of the Prime Minister and the Public Security Minister at the meeting.
