Charmvit Corporation granted scholarships for children of public security invalids and martyrs

Hanoi – The MPS of Vietnam holds a ceremony receiving scholarship by Charmvit
Corporation for children of public security invalid and martyr officer on October 4th.

Attendants from the MPS included Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of Politburo, Minister of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Quang Chu, Vice Director of General Department of Public Security Politics, Director of “Nghia tinh Dong doi” Fund, and other representatives from various departments under the MPS.

Representing the South Korean side were Mr. Lee Huyk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of S.Korea in Vietnam, Mr. Lee Dae Bong, Director of Charmvit, Mr. Yun Chul Ho, Director of Grand Plaza, representatives from the Embassy of South Korea in Vietnam.

The scholarship offered by the Korean corporation is worth some VND 1 billion, which was started in 2007.

It has been making great contributions to multifaceted cooperation ties between the two nations as well as between Charmvit and the MPS of Vietnam.

The Korean Ambassador noted that Charmvit is one of the first Korean companies to invest in Vietnam. In the time to come, South Korea will continue to encourage enterprises to further invest in Vietnam, contributing to better socio-economic development of Vietnam.

He also thanked the MPS of Vietnam for facilitating investment activities of Korean enterprises in Vietnam.

Addressing the event, Minister of Public Security of Vietnam To Lam congratulated the Korean participants on their National Day, hoped the Korean friends would further enjoy stability, peace, development and prosperity.

He stressed the fine developments between the 2 sides in recent time in various areas, expressing his desires for comprehensive developments in the future.

Founded in 2007, the scholarship fund offered by Charmvit to children of wounded and martyr soldiers of Vietnam Public Security had experienced 10 years of operation.

It is a great present for poor students with excellent academic performances, encouraging them to overcome difficulties and try their best at school.

Mr. To Lam took this opportunity to express his thanks to the Korean enterprises in general, Director of Charmvit in particular for their supports given to public security officers injured or sacrificed for peace and happiness of the people.

He emphasized that the MPS of Vietnam would further facilitate Korean companies to invest in Vietnam, hoped they would implement more effective projects in Vietnam.
