PSNews - Recently, the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department held a meeting to review public security work in 2025 and roll out tasks for 2026. Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

In 2025, under the leadership and direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee and the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department remained united, proactive and innovative, overcoming difficulties to successfully fulfill tasks in safeguarding security and order, effectively serving the province’s socio-economic development and foreign affairs.

The Bac Ninh Police Force closely coordinated with provincial departments and agencies, particularly the military, to ensure absolute security and safety for Party and State leaders and visiting delegations, as well as major political and social events at both national and local levels.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long commended and praised the outstanding achievements attained by the Bac Ninh Provincial Police in 2025.

Regarding key tasks in the time ahead, the Deputy Minister requested the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department to clarify the targets set by the Ministry of Public Security in line with local conditions, given Bac Ninh is a strategically important industrial province and emerging as a national growth pole and economic hub.

The Deputy Minister also stressed the need for the local police to effectively implement all aspects of their professional work, particularly ensuring security and safey as well as seamless operation of information networks of state agencies, while seeking to reduce crime and strengthening the “All People Protecting National Security” movement.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long noted that the Bac Ninh Police Force should ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the elections of deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, avoiding any unexpected incidents under all circumstances.
