The program was part of the social activities, organized by the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police in the buildup to the 72nd Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), aiming at following the national tradition “When drinking water, remember its source.”

During the program, Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Doan, Director of the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police led a delegation to visit and present gifts to martyrs’ families and revolution contributors in Nam Dong district.

Earlier also on July 23, the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police organized a ceremony to present a house of gratitude to mother Nguyen Thi Dau, mother of public security martyr Le Minh Nghi, in Duong Hoa commune, Huong Thuy town.

The activities demonstrated the gratitude of officers and soldiers of the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police Department to national contributors.
