To build a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Immigration Force in accordance with Politburo Resolution No. 12, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security designated the Immigration Department as the project developer for the construction of the Immigration Command, Control and Operations Center.

The project was comprehensively planned, designed, and invested in line with modern security standards. It marks a milestone in modernizing the Immigration Force, meeting the requirements of leadership, command, control, administration, and digital transformation in the new era.

In his commemorative address, Director General of the Immigration Department Lieutenant General Pham Dang Khoa reviewed the glorious 80-year tradition of the People's Security Force during its development, service, and growth.

"If our 80-year tradition is the spiritual foundation, the resilience and the source of strength of the People's Security Force, then the Immigration Command, Control and Operations Center serves as the critical material, technical, technological, and organizational foundation for the Immigration Force to innovate its methods of leadership, command, control, and operations, thereby better safeguarding national security and serving the People in the new era," Lieutenant General Pham Dang Khoa emphasized.

Leveraging its advanced technical systems, technology, data infrastructure and specialized functional zones, the Center will enhance the capacity to receive, consolidate, analyze, and process information. This supports forecasting, detection, strategic advisory work, and the early handling of complex situations related to immigration, foreign nationals, border gates, aviation security, and other related fields. The Center also serves as an essential platform for data governance and administrative reform in immigration. More effective data connectivity, utilization, and analysis will help improve the quality of state management, prevent and combat crime, and streamline administrative procedures for citizens, organizations, and foreign nationals.

To fulfill its glorious responsibilities in the new revolutionary period, Minister Luong Tam Quang urged the Immigration Department to vigorously apply science and technology in immigration management, driving a landmark and revolutionary shift in the management of foreign nationals in Vietnam. He requested the department to focus heavily on researching and proposing comprehensive solutions, effectively leveraging science and technology, big data, and artificial intelligence across all aspects of immigration management, while proactively proposing measures to optimize the operations of the Immigration Command, Control and Operations Center.
