Tay Ninh police roll out working plan for 2021

PSNews - The Provincial Police Department of Tay Ninh held a conference on December 22 to review the local police force’s task performance in 2020 and roll out its new plans for 2021. Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the conference.

At the conference, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Trai, Director of the Provincial Police Department of Tay Ninh briefed participants on the results of the 76th National Public Security Conference, while Senior Colonel Ta Van Dep, Deputy Director of the department informed delegates about its outcomes in 2020.

According to reports at the event, the provincial police grasped thoroughly and implemented effectively all directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee, leaders and the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee of Tay Ninh and fulfilled all given tasks.

The provincial police successfully investigated some 819 cases of social order violations and arrested 4,739 people involved. They also arrested 537 people involved in 7335 drug-related cases, seized over 135 kg of heroin, synthetic drugs.

Security and order in the province were maintained. Meanwhile, the local police’s Party and force building work also gained large achievements.

For its outstanding achievements at work, the Provincial Police Department received the “Excellent Emulation Flag” in the “National Security Protection Emulation” Movement in 2020 presented from the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi acknowledged the efforts and achievements gained by the provincial police. He also highlighted major tasks for the local police force in 2021.

Particularly, the provincial police were asked to take measures to curb criminal offences, crack down on inter-provincial, cross-border drug trafficking rings, and reduce social order violations.

They should pay more attention to building up the communal police force, launch intensive campaigns to suppress crimes, especially during the upcoming Traditional Lunar New Year holiday, the National Party Congress and the Elections of the National Assembly and the People’s Councils at various levels term 2021-2026.
