Regiment 600 of Security Guard Command awarded Third-Class Feat Order

PSNews - The Regiment 600 under the Security Guard Command organized a ceremony to celebrate its 70th founding anniversary and receive a Third-Class Feat Order, on September 20th, in Hanoi.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Commander of Regiment 600 Senior Colonel Pham Hong Son underlined that, over the past 70 years, the Security Guard Force in general and the Regiment 600 in particular has continuously developed in all aspects, although experiencing numerous difficulties and hardships.

The Regiment Commander underscored that generations of officers of the regiment have always tried their best to ensure security and safety of the designated key areas, buildings and infrastructure projects as well as major events of the country, international events taking place in Vietnam.

Especially, the regiment has protected absolute safety of leaders of the Party and State as well as foreign top leaders visiting Vietnam.

On the occasion of its 70th founding anniversary, the Regiment 600 was awarded the third-class “Feat of Arms” Order by the Party and State for their outstanding achievements in ensuring security and safety of the Ba Dinh political center area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Commandant of the Security Guard Command Lieutenant General Tran Hai Quan congratulated and praised the regiment for the outstanding feats and achievements that have been obtained by generations of officers of the Regiment 600 throughout its history.

To meet more demanding requirements for the work of security guard in the increasingly complex situation, Lieutenant General Tran Hai Quan requested that the Regiment 600 and other units under the Command continue to proactively grasp, analyze and forecast situational developments, identify potential security threats and proactively advise the Command’s leadership on strategies to continuously improve the quality of the unit’s security guard work, firmly protecting all the designated targets.

The Commander also asked the security guard force to proactively prevent potential threats as well as build capacity of security officers so that they can rapidly and effectively respond to unexpected situations and ensure absolute security and safety for protected targets, while avoiding being in a disadvantaged or surprised position in any circumstance.
