The talks aimed to discuss the implementation of the MOU between the two sides signed in November 2023.

At the talks, Major General Dinh Van Noi briefed the South Korean delegation on the province’s potentials and strengths as well as the organizational structure of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department and the security situation in the province.

Major General Dinh Van Noi revealed that South Korea ranked 12th in the list of the foreign investors in the province, and 65 South Korean experts are working in 23 companies in the province, while nearly 5,000 Quang Ninh’s citizens are living, studying and working in South Korea.

During the talks, the two sides exchanged experience in residence management, immigration management and high-tech crimes prevention.

Regarding the bilateral cooperation in the coming time, heads of the two delegations reached consensus on further increasing delegation exchange, coordinating closely in crime prevention and handling of law violations involving citizens of one country in the other, contributing to enhancing the traditional relationship between the two countries and two police agencies.\
