Quang Ngai's communal police make much progresses in local security and order

PSNews - Following the policy of the Ministry of Public Security on deploying professional police officers to communal police posts, Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department posted 740 professional police officers to 148 communes.

The officers were selected according to the ministry's criteria, with bachelor degrees and practical experience.

After two years of implementing the ministry's policy, leaders of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department affirmed, the communal police have gradually overcome all difficulties, helped local authorities manage residence and deal with issues related to administrative procedures for the local people.

They also actively grasped security and order situations in the commune, closely monitored subjects under supervision as well as helped ex-offenders to reintegrate into the community after serving their prison sentences.

In the fight against COVID-19, the force carried out many meaningful programs, helping people during the time of social distancing as well as mobilizing people to get vaccinated.

Chairman of the Tra Binh Commune People's Committee Nguyen Cong Hanh shared that the communal police force helped resolve people's conflicts in a reasonable manner so they gained people's trust and support. Before the deployment of professional policemen to the locality, Tra Binh commune had been a complex hotspot of order and social security. The communal police have brought peace and security to local people.
