PSNews - Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To chaired a meeting to review the third-quarter work results of the Public Security Central Party Committee’s advisory bodies, on the afternoon of October 13, in Hanoi.

  • First Congress of NA Party Organisation for 2025 – 2030 tenure concludes

According to the general report delivered at the meeting, in the third quarter of 2025, staff-work units and agencies proactively advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to issue numerous documents guiding public security Party organizations to enhance Party building and directing public security units at all levels to perform their responsibilities and strengthen force building.

During the meeting, delegates gave ideas and suggestions on how to augment the working efficiency of the advisory bodies of the Public Security Central Party Committee and under-ministerial agencies in charge of force building and Party building, in the coming time.

Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To commended the efforts and outstanding achievements of the advisory bodies and agencies responsible for Party building and force building in the third quarter.

Regarding key tasks ahead, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested relevant units to complete all remaining work and documentation related to the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization for the 2025–2030 term, as well as to make thorough preparations for the upcoming 14th National Party Congress.

The Deputy Minister required that all public security and agencies should take comprehensive professional approaches to ensure absolute security and safety of major political events and year-end review conferences.

He explained that the fourth quarter is usually an important time for the entire political system to reach the year’s goals, putting  a heavy workload and high pressure on public security units and agencies at all levels. 

The senior officer urged leaders of all public security units and agencies to thoroughly grasp the public order and security situation in localities and across the country so as to successfully settle issues arising during the period of time.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To suggested bringing into full play the position and combat strength of Party organizations, Party committees and Party members in Party building work in association with building clean, strong and comprehensive Public Security Forces, which should be considered a fundamental and long-term task in the strategy on development of the Public Security Forces.
