Public Security Department of Science, Strategy and History celebrates 45th anniversary

PSNews – The Department of Science, Strategy and History of Public Security (DSSH) organized a ceremony on January 22 to celebrate its founding anniversary (January 6, 1974 -2019).

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech.

At the ceremony, Major General Do Le Chi, Director of the DSSH and delegates reviewed the process of formation and development of the unit.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised all efforts and achievements of generations of officers and soldiers of the department over the past 45 years.

Deputy Minister Thanh emphasized that over the past 45 years of development, the DSSH has always served as a leading staff-work agency, specialized in strategic and scientific studies of the Public Security Forces. 

At present, it develops comprehensively but focuses on the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanity, public security science, and history of the Public Security Forces.
