New Director of Criminal Police Department appointed

PSNews – The General Department of Police on June 15 organized a ceremony to announce a decision by Minister of Public Security on the appointment of Director of Criminal Police Department.

Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha was appointed as the new Director of the Criminal Police Department.
Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha was appointed as the new Director of the Criminal Police Department. 

Lieutenant General Tran Van Ve, Director of General Department of Police, chaired the event. The ceremony also saw presence of Major General Luong Tam Quang, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), representatives of the General Department of Politics, General Department of Police and Criminal Police Department.

Under the decision, Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha was appointed as the new Director of the Criminal Police Department. Ha earlier served as Vice Director, Secretary to the leadership of the MPS.

Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha, aged 50, was born in Quang Phu Cau commune, Ung Hoa, Hanoi, who also held the position of Head of the Investigation Section of Serious Cases under the Criminal Police Office, Municipal Police Department of Hanoi.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Van Ve on behalf of the leaders of the MPS congratulated Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha on his promotion, and hoped that he would heighten the sense of responsibility, promote the unit’s solidarity and make further contribution to the Criminal Police Department, meeting the requirements of the unit’s political tasks assigned by the MPS.

Upon receiving the new position, Ha vowed to coordinate with the whole department to effectively maintain security and order, build a strong and clean unit, deserving the trust of the Public Security Central Party Committee, leaders of the MPS, the General Department of Police while trying his best to fulfill his tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
