MPS promotes management of science, technology and environment

According by a report of Department of Management of Science, Technology and Environment under the G.D 4, the management of science, technology and environment has had both advantages and disadvantages over the past years.

According to the report, the technological, technical and environmental sector of the Public Security Forces has recently grown strongly. 

The infrastructure for science, technology and environment has been improved while the sector’s capabilities of researching and applying scientific and technological achievements in key areas have gradually been improved, approaching the world technological and scientific level. 

In conclusion, the sector has contributed positively to promoting effectiveness of operations of the Public Security Forces, as well as effectively backed the Public Security Forces in preventing and fighting crimes and responding opportunely to situations threatening national security, social order and safety.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son emphasized that leaders of the MPS attach much importance to the development of the science, technology and environment sector, which helps enhance the strength and efficiency of the whole Public Security Forces. 

He also promised to continue investing in and developing the army of scientists and experts in the Public Security Forces so that they can master modern science and technology and better support police forces in preventing and fighting crimes, contributing to building more powerful and elite public security forces.
