The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a press conference on the afternoon of October 6, in Hanoi, to announce the work results of the Public Security Forces in the third quarter of 2025 and outline key tasks for the remaining months of the year.

Under the authority of the MPS leadership, Chief of the MPS Office and Spokesman of the Ministry Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan chaired the event.

Speaking at the press conference, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan reported that the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization for the 2025–2030 term, held from October 3 to 5, 2025, had concluded successfully. Following the congress, the Public Security Central Party Committee launched a new patriotic emulation movement entitled “Most Disciplined – Most Loyal – Closest to the People.”

He also noted that, on October 2, 2025, the MPS convened a meeting to review the work results of the Public Security Forces in the third quarter and the first nine months of the year, summarize its anti-crime campaign to ensure security and order for major national events, and evaluate the three-month run of the new administrative–territorial organizational model.

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan expressed his hope that the press would continue to coordinate closely with the MPS in covering news on operations of the Public Security Forces, particularly their outstanding achievements in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order, ensuring security for the organization of the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, and their good preparation of for the upcoming Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime in Hanoi.

He also encouraged press and media outlets to actively highlight positive examples and social activities of the Public Security Forces, especially their timely support and assistance for citizens affected by natural disasters, contributing to giving the public a comprehensive insight into the People’s Public Security Forces.
