MPS holds meeting with typical scientists and experts

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hanoi Capital (October 10th, 1954 – 2024), the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with the scientists and experts who have made large contributions to the scientific research on theoretical, historical and strategic stuffs of the Public Security Forces in the past time, on the afternoon of October 9th, in Hanoi.

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang chaired the meeting.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung also attended the meeting.

Delivering his opening speech, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung underlined that, over the past time, scientists and experts have made great contributions to the cause of safeguarding national security, ensuring social order and safety and building clean and strong Public Security Forces by completing valuable scientific studies on the forces and their operations.

At the meeting, scientists and experts expressed their good feelings and respect for the Public Security Forces as well as gave constructive opinions on the work of scientific research in the Public Security Forces.

By so doing, they demonstrated their high sense of responsibility for the cause of safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and praised the public security scientists and experts for their contributions and devotion to promoting scientific research in support of practical operations of the Public Security Forces.

The Minister also thanked the scientists and experts outside of the Public Security Forces for their contributions, and expressed gratitude to ministries, branches and sectors for their close coordination with the Public Security Forces in the cause of safeguarding national security and ensuring social order.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that relevant units and agencies should pay due attention to developing the group of public security researchers, scientists and experts as well as building high-quality human resources to effectively protect national security and social order in the country's digital transformation revolution.

Minister Luong Tam Quang wished that scientists and experts would continue to actively join the Public Security Forces in protecting national security, ensuring security and order while advising competent agencies to draft security policies, participating in struggling against wrong and hostile views, as well as mobilizing more domestic and abroad experts and scientists to contribute to the cause of national security protection and building of regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces.
