MPS discusses plans to strengthen inspection, supervision of planning, finance, logistics, technical services

PSNews - Recently, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired a meeting to discuss plans to strengthen inspection and supervision of the public security planning, finance, logistics, and technical service activities in the Public Security Forces in 2021.

According to reports at the event, in 2020, the Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee inspected and supervised the public security units responsible for planning, finance, logistics, and technical services in line with the annual inspection and supervision programs of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Charter of the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee, as well as other resolutions, decisions, and regulations of the Party Central Committee on inspection, supervision and Party discipline.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the efforts of relevant units and agencies in inspecting and supervising the public security agencies in charge of finance, logistics, and technical services over the past time.

He asked the Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee to coordinate with relevant units to develop training programs and open training courses to provide public security officers with additional professional expertise and skills so as to enhance the efficiency of inspection and supervision of planning, finance, logistics, and technical services in the Public Security Forces.

Relevant agencies and units were also requested to find solutions for the shortcomings and issues in performing their tasks while actively inspecting and supervising the task performances of the bodies in charge of planning, finance, logistics, and technical services. The Deputy Minister also asked the Party Committees of relevant units to promote their coordination with the Public Security Party Inspection Commission so as to effectively prevent wrongdoings in planning, finance, logistics, and technical services in the Public Security Forces.
