Ministry of Public Security preparing for celebration of 80th Founding Anniversary of the the People’s Public Security Advisory Force

The Ministry of Public Security, on April 8, held a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Founding Anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces’ Advisory Force (April 18, 1946 – April 18, 2026).

The Ministry of Public Security, on April 8, held a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Founding Anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces’ Advisory Force (April 18, 1946 – April 18, 2026).

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Head of the Organizing Committee, chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as representatives of leaders from related units.

Reports at the meeting read that the preparation for a series of commemorative activities has been actively carried out, ensuring progress, quality, and required standards. According to Plan No. 389/KH-BCA, issued on June 26, 2025 by the Ministry of Public Security, on the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Founding Anniversary of the Public Security Advisory Force, there are 18 activities in total. So far, 13 activities have been held, while the remaining 5 are still being in the pipeline.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee has carried out and finished several activities, including organizing political meetings and issuing documents on the Public Security Advisory Force, launching a written contest about the 80-year history of the Public Security Advisory Force (concluded on March 31, 2026).

At the same time, the committee advised the Ministry’s leadership to issue decisions to award Certificates of Merit to 80 units and 207 officers for their achievements, and to recognize 80 officers as role-models of the Public Security Advisory Force. It also guided public security units and agencies to provide information to the press and social media about the tradition of the Staff Force, and completed an E-magazine page on the Ministry’s web portal to promote the 80th founding anniversary of the force.

At the meeting, participants discussed and gave opinions on the timeline of the remaining activities for the celebration. They also reviewed each activity carefully to ensure all activities are organized in a coordinated, formal, and effective way, creating a meaningful highlight for the main celebration ceremony of the 80th Founding Anniversary of the Public Security Advisory Force.

In his remarks at the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested that all assigned units prepare for the ceremony carefully so that it can be held in a professional and appropriate manner.

At the same time, relevant units should continue to coordinate closely, promote a high sense of responsibility, and learn experience from previous events to successfully organize the activities and the 80th anniversary ceremony in a formal, meaningful and efficient manner.
