Khanh Hoa province reviews “All people protecting national security” movement

PSNews - The Provincial People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa organized a conference on April 4 to review outcomes of the movement of “All people protecting national security” in 2018 and roll out working plans for 2019.

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep, Director of the Department of Movement “All people protecting national security” and Mr. Tran Son Hai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

According to reports at the event, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Steering Committee for crimes and social evils control and building of the “All people protecting security movement; directed relevant agencies to promote the movement in couple with enhancing information and education on laws; and mobilized the people to participate in crime prevention and fight and ensure public security and order at the grassroots level.

The local police also formed and operated 264 security and order models, of which many had proved to be effective,in Khanh Hoa.

The above mentioned good performance and good approaches of local police units in the movement as well as great efforts of the local authorities and people to participate in the movement contributed to the whole local police force’s achievements. Particularly, 85% of the total criminal cases were solved while traffic accidents were curbed in all 3 criteria:  number of cases, number of injuries and number of deaths.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep applauded the outcomes of the movement “All people protecting national security,” and asked the Party committees and authorities at all levels to further promote the movement, enhance law dissemination and education, and raise the public awareness of preventing conspiracies of hostile forces and crimes.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa presented various awards in recognition of individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the movement.
