Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam highlighted fine developments in the Vietnam – Japan relations and cooperation in various areas, spoke highly of the Ambassador’s efforts and contributions to promoting the ties and cooperation between the two countries in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and relevant agencies of Japan in particular.

Minister Lam believed that Mr. Ryotaro Sugi would continue encouraging the Japan Firefighters Association, the Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam and other relevant Japanese agencies to support Vietnam with fire engines and equipment, and promote cooperation between the two sides in crime prevention and combat.

Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro thanked Minister To Lam for the reception and spoke highly of the fine political relations between the two countries. He promised to further promote ties and cooperation between the two countries in general and between the MPS of Vietnam and functional agencies of Japan in particular.
