The training course on national defense and security, lasting nearly 1 month, is designed for leaders of provinces and cities, leaders of ministries, central agencies, National Assembly deputies, high-ranking military and public security officers, and provincial-level Party standing members.
Minister To Lam provided delegates with knowledge of national security and national security protection; the Party’s viewpoints and guidelines as well as the State’s laws and policies on national security protection; strategic objectives of national security protection; the all-people security posture in association with the whole people defense posture; as well as the State's laws and policies on building all-people's defense in association with all-people's security.
General To Lam affirmed that building all-people's security as well as the all-people security posture is a consistent policy and guideline of the Party, in order to create a strong position and groundwork to maintain political security and address any circumstances.
Therefore, the special subject would provide a basis for delegates to understand other topics relating to national defense and security; and help them apply the acquired knowledge into their practical work.
