Dong Nai Police set up 20 mobile COVID-19 check team

PSNews – The Dong Nai Provincial Police Department on July 14 set up 20 mobile COVID-19 inspection teams to control infection in locality.

In particular, the teams in collaboration with the local police of 30 wards and communes in Bien Hoa City to patrol, detect and handle violations of the COVID-19 regulations.

According to Senior Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Vice Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department, the establishment of local mobile COVID-19 inspection teams is aimed at boosting information dissemination about COVID-19, and mobilizing the locals to strictly observe COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

The teams will also strictly handle violations of the COVID-19 regulations, especially when Dong Nai province is implementing social distancing measures for 15 days according to Directive 16.

From July 9 to 13, the Dong Nai police detected 665 cases of violating COVID-19 prevention and control regulations, fined 337 offenders nearly 1 billion VND in total.
