Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long inspects public service delivery in Hanoi and Phu Tho

PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Permanent Deputy Head of the Working Group for the Government’s Project 06, conducted an inspection of public service delivery under the two-tier local government model in Quang Oai commune (Hanoi) and Dao Xa commune (Phu Tho), on the morning of July 1, 2025.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long inspects Public Administrative Service Centers in Quang Oai and Dao Xa communes.

During the working trip, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long visited the Public Administrative Service Center of the two communes to evaluate the reception and handling of administrative procedures under the new system.

Following the field inspection, the Deputy Minister commended the two communes’ authorities for their good preparation for infrastructure, personnel and resources to effectively operate the shared information systems supporting the administration and governance of the two-tier local government model.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested that under-ministerial functional departments and the police departments of Hanoi and Phu Tho coordinate closely with relevant agencies to check all the information systems for security and safety to avoid any possible data leaks at local public service centers.

He also emphasized the need to promptly issue or update USB tokens and digital signatures for all local officials and civil servants.

Additionally, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long suggested strengthening communication efforts to raise public awareness of e-government services, as well as mobilizing local Youth Union organizations and students to join hands with local police forces in assisting citizens in performing administrative procedures from the first days of implementing the new governance model.

For their part, leaders of the two communes affirmed that they will try their best to effectively implement the Deputy Minister's instructions and continue to improve the quality of the operation of the two-tier administrative system and the two-tier administrative services system so that the systems can operate in integrated, seamless and safe manners, providing best services for residents and businesses.
