Construction of memorial site of Uncle Ho's 6 teachings to PSF kicked off

PSNews - The Memorial Site of Uncle Ho's 6 Teachings to the Public Security Forces contributes to promoting historical and cultural values of Tu Giap pagoda, a national historical and artistic site.

The Ministry of Public Security broke ground for a memorial site of Uncle Ho’s 6 Teachings to the Public Security Forces on August 15, in Nguon hamlet, Nha Nam commune, Tan Yen, Bac Giang. The General Department of Politics of Public Security has been assigned to run the project.

The ceremony saw the participation of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Hai.

On behalf of the investor agency, Major General Mai Van Ha, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics announced that to promote education for all generations of officers and soldiers of the importance of the Uncle Ho's 6 teachings to the public security forces, the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security has drawn up a specific plan to invest in this memorial site.

The memorial site plays an important role in promoting political education for generations of the public security forces, and marks the event in which Director of Police Zone 12 Hoang Mai received a letter with the 6 teachings from President Ho Chi Minh. The memorial also serves as a reminder of the special care of Uncle Ho for the public security forces.

The Memorial Site of Uncle Ho's 6 Teachings to the Public Security Forces contributes to promoting historical and cultural values of Tu Giap pagoda, a national historical and artistic site.

With an area of nearly 2.6 hectares, the memorial site includes President Ho Chi Minh statue, ceremonial yard, reception hall, management section and a natural lake. 

The memorial project is expected to be completed by March 2018, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Director Hoang Mai’s receiving the letter from Uncle Ho.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Hai said, the project is significant for the public security forces but also for Bac Giang province. During the implementation of the project, local authorities will actively cooperate with the public security forces and create favorable conditions for the entrepreneur to finish the project on time with high quality and estheticism, said a local official.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh sincerely thanked leaders of the Bac Giang authorities and people of Nha Nam commune for their efficient supports for the project’s land clearing.

He also instructed the General Department of Politics to run the project with a high sense of responsibility, well managing the project and ensuring safety during the construction.

He also asked the project manager to pay attention to the project’s quality, technical and aesthetic features and environmental protection while ensuring the construction progress.
