2016 new Doctors of Philosophy and Masters of Art certificated

Hanoi – On September 22nd, the People’s Police Academy (PPA) held the 2016 opening and closing ceremonies for postgraduate courses.

The ceremonies saw the participations of Lieutenant General, Dr. Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Major General Do Ngoc Can, Deputy Director of General Department of Politics of Public Security forces as well as other participants from different agencies of the MPS.

At the event, Deputy Minister Thanh presented certificates for the new 30 PhD who had successfully defended their thesis at the PPA. Representatives from the General Department of Politics of Public Security and the PPA also awarded Master Certificates to new Masters of Art, certificates of merit to outstanding students of the course. The list of newly matriculated students for the 25th course.

Addressing at the event, on behalf of the Party Central Committee of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh congratulated the new Doctors and Masters on their merits and welcomed the new students.

The event marked the sound beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year and emphasized developments of the PPA in terms of postgraduate education.

The Deputy Minister praised the fine outcomes but also stressed the upcoming challenges. It is essential for each postgraduate to try their utmost to overcome any difficulty and obstacle and fulfil all requirements of the course.

He also complimented the new Doctors and masters on their achievements, however, it was just the beginning of the scientific research process. He hoped that all newly certificated Doctors and Masters would continue to research and study to better solve any emerged problems contributing to better crime control and protection of security and social order.
