NA deputies meet voters in Bac Ninh

PSNews – Bac Ninh province's National Assembly delegation in collaboration with the Bac Ninh Fatherland Front Committee met with voters in Bac Ninh city in December 5.

Members of the National Assembly delegation included Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security; Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Standing Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly.

The meeting also saw the participation of Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao briefed participants at the meeting on results of the fourth session of the 14th National Assembly.

Particularly, the NA passed 6 laws and discussed 9 draft laws; reviewed and discussed reports from the Government on socio-economic development and the State budget.

The voters of Bac Ninh city expressed their belief in the NA and the NA deputies representing the will of the people. At the same time, the voters also expressed concerns over a number of local issues, particularly those related to environmental pollution; urban development and planning, and upgrading gold villages to urban areas.

Minister To Lam expressed his delight at the strong development of Bac Ninh province, thanked the voters' ideas and opinions. He also expressed his hope that the voters will continue to give more ideas to the locality and country as a whole, saying that the voters' opinions are an important bases for the NA deputies to propose the NA to make policies and laws on socio-economic development, social welfare, environment and security of the country.
