Minister To Lam said that investigations have been carried out in the cities and provinces with signs of fraud in the exam. “Involved police agencies are still investigating three cases in three provinces. The MPS cannot therefore make a conclusion,” Minister To Lam said.

Regarding the information that the investigation has been expanded to other cities and provinces, Minister Lam emphasized that the Ministry of Education and Training and competent agencies continue their inspections, and the MPS only starts investigation when signs of law violation are detected.

Earlier on October 26, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha stated that the Education and Training Ministry in coordination with the MPS continues to work on frauds in the examination and will seriously punish organizations and individuals with their wrongdoings. So far, 11 officers have been accused of intentionally changing scores of examination papers.
