In June 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture of East Timor signed a contract with Telemor to implement the ministry's key project with the completion time of 3 months, from August to the end of November 2019.

Under the contract, which costs more than $ 536,000, Telemor will supply information technology (IT) equipment and solutions for the 2019 East Timor General Census.

Later, Telemor signed another contract with the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) of East Timor.

Under the second contract, Telemor will start from 2019 to install a working network connecting 140 government agencies and departments of East Timor. This project is expected to create a  foundation for this country to realize its e-Government program in the near future. The contract between Telemor and MTC is worth $ 672,000 per year for the network maintenance and connection and is a long-term project that Telemor has achieved after more than 2 years of its efforts.

Contracts worth over $500,000 are considered large ones in East Timor and must be approved by the national bidding agency and the contract must be signed directly by ministers with the partners. The two contracts with the Ministry of Agriculture and the MTC have demonstrated the confidence of the East Timor government agencies in Telemor and good cooperation between the two sides. The total value of the two contracts will also promote  business performance in Telemor's enterprise customer field.

In the first 5 months of 2019, Telemor's total value of contracts with businesses, government agencies of East Timor reached $ 620,000, while the value of the 2 new contracts in June 2016 was nearly 2 times higher than the first 5 months.

Viettel Global General Director, Mr. Do Manh Hung said that along with its major service of digital transfer, Viettel also pays attention to providing IT solutions, services and products for customers of businesses, government agencies customers.

He also said that these two major projects can serve as a premise for the company to build an e-government of East Timor.

The East Timor Ministry of Agriculture said that, after finishing the project, it would consider to buy Telemor's IT solutions for its other sociological surveys and statistic projects, which helps Telemor have additional 2,700 VIP customers with estimated revenue of $ 27,000 per month.

Officially supplying products and services in the market in 2013, Telemor is one of Viettel's successful foreign brands when it got profits in less than 6 months of operation and regained the investment after 4 years of operation.

2018 was also a successful year for Telemor as it became the first and only company in East Timor offering e-wallet services. These services have  made it easier for people in East Timor to access financial services instead of depending on the country’s poor banking network. This event was selected by the Central Bank of East Timor as one of the 4 major hallmarks in the banking industry of the country in the period 2016-2018.

Telemor continues to maintain its position of the best ICT brand in East Timor in terms of market share, revenue, network infrastructure, technology.
